Glenmora, our beautiful timber frame lodge, was opened in June 2004 and provides fine dining and spirits to equal the outstanding fishing and lodging at Broadacres Ranch. As a part of our lodging rates, each guest enjoys gourmet meals at Glenmora. With the evening meal a variety of premium wines, spirits, and beers are available. This stunning facility at Broadacres was constructed by the premier timber frame builder in the U.S., Bensonwood Timber Frame Homes, of Walpole, New Hampshire.
The lodge area of Glenmora also offers a library, reading, and quiet recreation area, plus a private office with internet access for guest use. You can also pull up a chair in front of one of the two stone fireplaces, one inside and one outside, or relax on the expansive porch overlooking the Rio Grande River.
The design of Glenmora provides a unique and dramatic setting for special occasions or business retreats. Please contact us about your special celebration, reunion, or executive conference.
The name Glenmora comes from the name first given the Broadacres Ranch back in 1891. John Grant and his daughter, Elsie, who emigrated from the Glasgow area of Scotland, homesteaded it. While remembering the great history of the ranch, Glenmora is now one of the premiere dining destinations on the Rio Grande.
